Quarry Connect is operated by Stella International, Inc. In this policy, “Quarry Connect”, “we” and “us” mean Stella International, Inc., doing business as Quarry Connect. This policy covers this website, quarryconnect.com (the “Website”), and Quarry Connect Software (the “Software”), the browser-based system used by Brokers and quarries. The Quarry Connect Driver App has its own Driver App Privacy Policy.
Protecting the privacy of client and Customer information is critically important to us. We value your business and the trust you put in Quarry Connect. To provide our services, we collect, keep and use information about you and your Customers on a routine basis. This policy explains how we protect and share that information. If you stop using Quarry Connect or end your relationship with us, we continue to follow this policy for the information we hold.
Information we collect
As a service provider, we collect, keep and use nonpublic personal information to serve our clients and manage our business. We may collect it from sources such as:
- Applications, files and orders submitted by you and your employees, such as names, addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses.
- Information you and your users enter into the Software, including Customers, Vendors, Drivers, Jobs, tickets, invoices and bills.
- Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates or others, such as your orders, order history and other account activity.
- Information we gather to comply with laws and regulations.
- Information you send us through the contact form on the Website, which we use only to respond to your enquiry.
Why we share information
Under limited circumstances, and only in full compliance with applicable law, we may disclose nonpublic personal information about you and your Customers to our affiliates (businesses related to us by common ownership or control) and to non-affiliated third parties that perform services for us, in order to provide you with better service, offer you products or services, or respond to inquiries from regulators or law-enforcement agencies, including in response to a subpoena or court order.
Limited information sharing
We will not disclose personally identifiable information we collect about you or your Customers to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf, or to other financial institutions with which we have joint marketing agreements. We do not sell your information. We may share aggregated and anonymous information with our business partners, but it cannot be linked to you or your Customers.
Text messages (SMS)
Drivers who work with Brokers that use Quarry Connect can receive text messages about their work: Job assignments, schedule changes, cancellations, status checks and replies from dispatch. We collect the mobile number a Driver gives us, the Driver’s consent to receive these texts (when and how it was given), and the messages sent and received.
We use this information only to send and manage these work messages. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Mobile numbers and consent are shared only with the Broker the Driver works for, and with the service providers that deliver the messages for us (such as our SMS provider), only so the messages can be delivered.
You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. See the SMS section of our Terms of Service.
Third-party websites
The Website and the Software may link to websites we do not operate. We try to link to sites that share our standards and respect for personal privacy, but Quarry Connect is not responsible for the content or the privacy practices of any third party.
How we protect your information
We maintain strict physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect the information we collect. Access is restricted to people who need it to do their work for us, and only after they are trained in handling it. We also require the affiliated and non-affiliated companies that work with us to protect your information and to use it only to provide the services we authorize.
Security
No data transmission can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot warrant the security of information sent to us online. Once we receive your information, we use reasonable and customary efforts to protect it and to make sure our systems, controls and processes work properly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the bottom of this page shows when it last changed. If we make material changes, we will note them prominently on the Website.
